53.49 - my favourite on here. strong instrumental foundation and a genre blend that actually comes off. the mixing works so much better than everywhere else on the record, which by comparison often just sounds unfinished.

42.26 - the other one i keep coming back to.

Algorhythm - not far behind it.

an unusual album with real highlights and real flaws. the mixing is poor across most of it and there's no coherence between songs, so it ends up a disjointed listen — the flow feels misconstrued even though some of the tracks are very strong with powerful instrumentals. the whole thing feels thrown together, a notable lack of structure. there are some compelling sounds in here though, and it might be gambino paving the way for a new direction to explore later. execution is flawed but you can see glimpses of something in the experimenting.
